The lilacs have faded, the tulips are a distant memory. Now it's time for the roses. If you are a true connoisseur, there are two places you must visit in Paris:
Bagatelle in the Bois de Boulogne and the
Roseraie in L'Haÿ-les-Roses just south of town. In fact, you don't have to go that far because there may be some beautiful specimens just around the corner. Lovely.
Beautiful, they look wonderful against the wrought iron.
ReplyDeletepink roses are one of my favorite. so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWow...we haven't even had lilacs yet
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...in N.Wisconsin we're still waiting on the tulips and lilacs.
ReplyDeleteWe are way behind too! It's daffodils, tulips and magnolias for us in Chicago. The dreariest April in many many years. Paris anytime would be wonderful, but with all those roses.... sigh!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Like "Anonymous" in N. Wisconsin, I'm still eagerly awaiting spring flowers let alone roses here in Minnesota.
ReplyDeleteLove that pinkish, yellowish, peachish rose at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteThe French do love their flowers.
