I totally disagree with the concept of a menu in French and English. Okay, I understand that not everyone who visits Paris speaks French. But if you're too lazy to look up the menu items, maybe you should have stayed at home. And did you ever notice, it's always French-ENGLISH? Are they saying the anglos are the only people in the world who don't speak another language? Are they correct?
I ate at a place like this once -- it was on r. Monge. It was the worst. I can't even imagine why I thought it might be minimally o.k. It was August, not much was open, we were desperate, but even so, what a mistake.
pâté de "compagne", lol! did the chef kill his girlfriend?
