Army Boys
The French Army has turned in its camouflage vehicles for these new, sleeker gray-green Land Rovers. I've never quite been sure what exactly their mission might be as they ply the streets of Paris. I can say they're now doing it in style.

Looking for chicks?
Contrary to the United States, in France the firemen and certain police ARE military, or paramilitary personnel. So yeah, they are quite present in the streets.
They certainly ride in style.
Re: your comment on David Leb's blog on spilt milk
i recommend puncturing a small hole(i use a paring knife) on top of the carton of milk at the farthest corner from the spout to keep milk from spilling, especially from a newly opened carton. works for me. it has something to do with the small spout, the amount of milk going out and not enough air getting in at the same time - a vacuum principle, i think.
