Art is everywhere in Paris, even if you never step foot inside a museum. Just walking down the street offers a feast for the eyes. Here are a few items that caught my eye recently.
From a pratical point of view, can you imagine trying to cut that cake?
It's lovely to be surrounded by such detail on a daily basis and your post has seriously reminded me to keep my eyes open and appreciate the beauty of the things surrounding me here on a daily basis.
For a long time, we were just another typical Washington, DC family: two policy-oriented jobs, two kids, and two cars. Out of the blue, my husband got a new assignment; we ditched the old jobs and the cars (but kept the kids) and headed to Paris for what started out to be a three-year, and eventually became a four-year tour.

You are so lucky to live in a city surrounded by beauty. I'm glad you choose to take it all in and share it with those of us who are less fortunate!
It's true, it is all in the details, so French!
Love the mosaic.
