Yes, we've lost a lot of men in Afghanistan, also, but what about all the innocent Afghan people who have been killed because a President of the United States lied? And what about the more than 1,000,000 Iraqis who have died for the same lies? Everybody thinks Obama is the coming of the savior, but are we not still in Iraq and Afghanistan? Are not innocent people still being killed?
For a long time, we were just another typical Washington, DC family: two policy-oriented jobs, two kids, and two cars. Out of the blue, my husband got a new assignment; we ditched the old jobs and the cars (but kept the kids) and headed to Paris for what started out to be a three-year, and eventually became a four-year tour.

speaking from a country that has lost 145 men in that country ...yes that's a good question
