Metro Vaneau

The Paris Metro is best known for its Art Nouveau entrances designed by Hector Guimard.  As much as I love them, sometimes it's nice to find something just a bit different, and no less stunning.  You can find this stop on line 10, on the border of the 6th and 7th arrondissements.

That's a beauty.

Speaking of metro stops, what's the scariest one for you? I still have bad dreams about the one at Barbès — Rochechouart. It seems like I was always there at night, always alone with a couple of shady-looking characters, always on edge.

Amy: I'm a big fan of the metro and have only had good experiences. Well there was that one time when I was at Porte de la Villette, alone and after midnight, which was pretty creepy, as was the long, long correspondance at Stalingrad.
