Sunny Day

Today started out misty and damp but now the sun is shining and the sky is blue and it just reminds me again how lucky I am to be in Paris. I took this photo months ago (as you can tell from the leafless branch)and never really knew what to say about it. Its cheer somehow just seemed the right match for today.

Your gratefulness is refreshing. It's great to see that you truly appreciate how fortunate you are to be living in Paris. That is one of the many reasons why your blog is my favourite:)

Do you think it'll be difficult for you to move back to the US? Given the chance, could you see yourself settling down in Paris for good?

Duchesse: I'm sure it will be an adjustment for everyone when we move back although I'm not really sure which bumps will be the most painful. We've actually only been back for one trip in the 25 months that we've been here. And no, I don't imagine that we would settle here for good. We're living the sweet life on an expat package, not something we could recreate if we had to go it alone. And to be honest, the U.S. is home. But for the time being, Paris is mighty fine.

Cecile: Sorry, can't you give the exact address. I think I was standing on Boulevard Edgar Quinet around the metro stop of the same name and looking east.
